  1. That Steven Kellogg book brought back memories, I met him as a 6th grader at my school. He illustrated his book "Island of the Skog" on a big tablet on an easel while telling it as he drew. I have an autographed book of Skog and acquired several of his books since then. Steven Kellogg is a wonderful illustrator and storyteller. His art is whimsically detailed with clever characters. I love him as much now as I did then, he is my absolute favorite children's author.
